Great trip and experience to Peru! It has been a wonderful trip visiting Peru (Lima, Cusco and Puno), all thanks to Jimmy and him planning the itinerary right for us. It was probably not the easiest with us arriving on different flights/days but he always made sure we were taken care of. The trip showed us Peru's finest, starting from the food gastro tour in Lima to hiking with llamas in Cusco to hiking to see the Rainbow Mountain and finally taking a boat tour on Lake Titicaca. But my favourite part of the trip was the 1-day Inca Trail hike which ends at Machu Picchu: the itinerary was planned really well to allow us to acclimatize and start with shorter hikes at the high altitude which prepared us when we attempted the Inca Trail hike. We also interacted with many local Peruvians and learnt about their way of life: lunch at a local Peruvian's home to see how and what they normally cooked and also a home stay at another local's 18th century home. Not to mention our guide Edgar and driver Peter were great fun on the trip - not just much laughter and knowledge about Peru were shared, they always ensured we are comfortable and safe travelling everywhere. It has definitely been great to travel and learn about Peru with Jimmy/Nomadic Peru. As this is our first trip to South America, where being safe while having fun has been our top priority, Jimmy has definitely delivered above our expectations.

An Amazing Peruvian Adventure We had the most amazing adventure with Nomadic Peru and Jimmy Vasquez - I don't think I would have changed a thing. We spent three nights in the Sacred Valley exploring the ruins there and enjoying the incredible cuisine. Jimmy planned our restaurants perfectly. We spent an afternoon and a morning exploring Machu Picchu and spent the night at the Inkaterra in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Then three days in Cuzco exploring. Finally to Lima for three nights where Jimmy set us up for a cooking class one day and a food tour on another day - both with the Lima Gourmet Company - what an awesome experience.

A wonderful experience that really gave us a view of local culture One of the best travel experiences I’ve had! I travelled with my partner and another couple who are long time friends. I highly recommend Jimmy who was our guide in Cusco and the wonderful coordinator of our adventure in Peru. He took excellent care of us. Prior to the trip, he took the time to prep us weeks before with tips on what to pack, updates via WhatsApp and emails on what to expect… we were excited before we even left for Peru. Jimmy’s clearly very passionate about sharing local culture. He shares a lot of his knowledge which gave us a deeper insight into local life. He also curated a great experience that allowed us to dine with a local family in their home, walk with villagers as they herded llama down the mountain; visit local markets; stay in an old hacienda; and try very local bites. He’s also an extremely experienced hiker and I’m glad he took us on different short hikes to prep physically and mentally for the one day hike to Machu Picchu ( We’re city slickers unused to the altitude and hiking. So we really appreciated the prep!)The travel logistics all went really smoothly whether in Lima, Cusco or Puño.
